Just stunning!

Oh what a trip!

We’ve just had an awesome trip to Venice, and having now been three times I can honestly say it’s still one of my most favourite cities in the world… just stunning!

Venice for me is decadence, beauty, and historical glamour, and an absolute must go tick box experience. We went this time as it was my daughter’s 18th birthday. Our squad of seven jumped on the plane from London Luton airport and two hours later we were on our private boat from the airport, motoring our way to the beautiful Hotel Ai Cavalieri Di Venezia for what can only be described as a full on Boujee getaway! (*Boujee is youngsters talk for lavish/extra/luxury, etc… I’ve probably got that totally wrong). Our trips to Venice always include staying at this amazing 18th century privately owned palace that recently converted to an incredibly stunning hotel, right in heart of Venice. Our rooms were opulent and grand, and the service was exceptional as always…

If you follow my Instagram stories you’ll have seen our various boat trips and nights out. I was doing my best to spam everyone with scenes of Venice throughout our stay! Venice is the kind of place where more is definitely more. Hopefully the stories and pics do it justice, but if you ever get the chance to go, GO!

Take a look at some of the shots I took, and enjoy:

I couldn’t resist getting up at 5am on our last morning to get out and take some shots whilst no one was around. The picture above and the one below show just how worth it it was πŸ™‚

I also highly recommend visiting Doge’s Palace which is truly incredible, bling on bling! Check my saved story called Venice 2018 on the gram and you’ll see just how breath taking some of the rooms are, and you’ll get an idea of just how fascinating it all is, definitely worth it.

Have a great weekend guys, and let me know what other amazing places should be on my list. I’ve had some great comments/recommendations so far from some of my other posts likeΒ Is it Spring yet?! but I’m always interested in new places to experience.

Cheers all,
